Some of my best days kick off with a pit stop for a cup of fresh papaya doused in lime. As I wait in the shade, I can't help but admire the vendor Under The Rainbow. I think about these umbrellas as more than mere dots of shade throughout LA, like all rainbows, they seem to illuminate the promise of new beginnings. I'm captivated by the myriad of dreams for better days ahead taking shape under each one-a living metaphor for the unwavering  pursuit of dreams and the promise of a more hopeful tomorrow.
